Registering in pInvestiga is really simple. It's just a one-time process. To do it, we just need to click on the "Registry" button that is on the "User panel"
Once we have done this, we will access to the next screen where we will fill all the required parameters. Although only the ones marked with and astherisk are mandatory, we highly encourage to fill them all.
Then, we will click on the button "Register". By doing so, an email will be automatically generated and sent to our email account. We must use this email to validate the registry.
The first thing we have to do is to make sure we have received the project's password (that's the reason why it's so important to indicate the center to whom we belong and the project where we want to access). Usually, you will receive this password within the 24 hours after carrying out the registration process, but if after this time you haven't received it, please, check your spam folder in the email account you provided. If still you aren't lucky, please contact with our technical support team.
Required data aside, accessing pInvestiga is very easy. We will just have to go to "User Panel (located in the upper-right corner of the home page) and introduce de following data:
Is importat to remember that if you introduce the password 3 times and it isn't correct, the account will be blocked and you will have to contact pInvestiga's technical support team to un-block it.
To change the personal password you must follow these steps:
When we talk about variables, we are referring to the names of the fields that together make the tables of a project. In other words: the names of the data we want to save. For example: Sex, Hight, Weight, Diagnosis...
In pInvestiga we also have a special type of variables that we call "essential variables". And they are considered to be essential because two reasons: they are necessary for the development of the project and they are necessary for some automatically-generated calculations
In the vast majority of cases, the solution to this problem is quite simple: one of these essential variables has not been introduced in the system.
If this is the problem, the solution is simple: make double click on the variable to see a pop-up window that contains information about the variables used to generate the calculation and its values. If one of them is empty, the calculation won't be generated.
If after this inspection the problem persists, we willcontact the technical support team.
The reports are short stadistical analysis that sumarize the data introduced in each project. Depending on the type of project, the reports might vary. These are the types:
In the Basic, Pro and Premium packs (as well as in the Surveys), data is saved in real time. In other words, each time we modify the value of a variable, the data is automatically saved.
However, it doesn't happen the same with the eCRF-type of projects. In this kind of studies, there's a button we must press to save the data. This happens because the eCRF-type of projects require a higher level of complexity due to the different permissions they need and to the controls they are submited to.
if you are thinking about starting a new project with us, send us an email or call us to any of the numbers you will find in the Contact. We will ask you to tell us a little bit about it (the type of project, the number of patients or cases you want to analyse, etc.). In addition, we will also need the following information:
With this information, we will make a quote and we will wait for your confirmation (by email). After that, you will only have yo send us the list with the variables.

The custom module is like a wild card. In other words, it will change deppending on the needs of each project. A clear example of one of these custom modules would be the homunculus used in rheumathology to take count of the number of painful and swollen joints.
